| New plan prepared for SAP schools Pakistan Times Gilgit-Baltistan Bureau SKARDU: A plan is being prepared for establishing SAP Schools of Gilgit-Baltistan, Deputy Director National Education Foundation Skardu Amanullah has said. The schools where number of students was less than 25 would be wound up, he said. These schools would be monitored by supervisors to visit every month and submit their report to the regional office, he said by adding; show cause notices would be issued to the teachers who were found absent from any school or if his performance was poor. He said the salaries of SAP schools would be paid to the teachers in a proper manner. Meanwhile, Joint In charge MQM Gilgit Baltistan Malahuddin Gilgiti has said the Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat ul Ibad has allocated 10 kanal of land to build a hostel for the students from Gilgit-Baltistan in Karachi. After the building of the facility, the students staying in Karachi would get accommodation there. He said that MQM was trying to sign an agreement between Karakorum International University and Karachi University to enable students of the former to get admissions in the latter. The MQM, he said is making sincere efforts for the welfare of the students, hailing from Gilgit Baltistan.
