| Strike in Pulwama district in IHK Pakistan Times Jammu & Kashmir Desk SRINAGAR (IHK)NULL occupied Kashmir, complete strike marked with anti-India demonstrations was observed on Friday in Pulwama district on the fifth phase of protests against the illegal possession of Kashmiris private land by Indian troops, reports KMS. Call for the protests in the district was given by veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader Syed Ali Gilani who was shifted to Soura Medical Institute after his health condition deteriorated in Srinagar Central Jail. The occupation authorities had deployed a large number of Indian police personnel in the whole district to prevent people from holding anti-India demonstrations. Meanwhile, Indian police has booked senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader Syed Ali Gilani in yet another fake case to prolong his illegal detention after a court granted bail to him. Syed Ali Gilani is presently undergoing treatment in Soura Institute of Medical Sciences Srinagar in police custody. He was arrested on Tuesday from the Government Medical College Srinagar and taken to the Central Jail. Later, he was shifted to the Soura hospital when his health deteriorated in the jail. The spokesman of the forum patronised by Syed Ali Gilani in a statement in Srinagar said that the puppet administration had been shaken by campaign of the senior Hurriyet leader and was keeping him behind the bars under various pretexts to block his direct contact with the masses.
