Pak Army distributes 30 tons of dry ration at Battkundi, Chilas

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army troops distributed 30 tons of dry ration at Battkundi and Chilas while 30 tons of rations have been transported to Kalam on Monday.

Pakistan Army has also dispatched 35 trucks carrying relief goods to Dera Murad Jamali which include 50 tons rations, water bottles, 5 tons dates, 1200 tents and utensils.

Army Relief Camps at Sibbi, Dera Murad Jamali, and Jacobabad are providing cooked food to 15000 marooned people.

Over 20 Helicopters are busy in evacuating flood affected people from Dera Murad Jamali, Jacobabad area to safer places. Army has established 7 Relief Camps at Sibbi, Daddar and Quetta for flood affected people. A Turkish Field Hospital is being established at Dera Murad Jamali and another at Khairpur.

Army troops have distributed 29 tons of relief items and provided cooked food to 500 persons in Relief Camps at Rahimyar Khan.

Over 17000 people have been rescued from Shahdad Kot, Garhi Khairu, Thatta, Kotri, Daddu, Sewan Tando Mohammad Khan by Army. Cooked food to 38000 flood affected people have been provided in last 48 hours.

People from Rawalpindi and Islamabad have donated 150 tons of Relief items at Army Relief Camps, that have been transported to Neelam Valley and area along KKH through Heli service.

Army has dispatched 8 trucks of Relief goods to KPK. Pakistan Army Engineers have launched Steel Truss Bridge at Lalpir and opened road Sanwan for traffic.
