LAHORE: According to a spokesman of Punjab Health Department, 34 new patients of dengue fever have been reported in Lahore during the last 24 hours while five patients are under treatment in private hospitals.
The spokesman said that a total of 43 patients are being treated at Mayo Hospital, while 21 at Ganga Ram Hospital, 16 at Jinnah Hospital, eight at Services Hospital and one patient at Lahore General Hospital.
Moreover, 8 patients are under treatment in Rawalpindi and two patients at Sheikhupura.
Meanwhile, 58 year old woman Surya Begum of Moghalpura died at Services Hospital whose dengue virus test was positive.
However, she was also a patient of chronic asthma besides also suffering from cardiac and renal diseases.  |
