QUETTA: Baloch nationalist parties including JWP, BRP, BNF, BSO and other political parties have started wall chalking and erecting their party flags in various parts of Balochistan including the provincial capital, to mark the second death anniversary of veteran Baloch nationalist leader Nawab Muhammad Akbar Khan Bugti, on August 26.

JWP and BRP have announced to observe black day and complete shutter down and wheel jam strikes on Tuesday to mark the second death anniversary of Nawab Akbar Bugti.

BNP-M, NP and other students’ organizations have announced to support the strike call on Tuesday. The political parties will also organize condolence references, rallies and public meetings on that day, to mark Nawab Bugti’s death anniversary.

The nationalist political parties have appealed to the people, business and trader communities, hotels and restaurant associations, shopkeepers to respond positively to the strike call of August 26 and make it a success.

JWP chief Talal Akbar Bugti, son of late Nawab Akbar Bugti, has announced that Quran Khawani for the departed soul of his father will be held here at Bugti House on Fatima Jinnah Road, at 5:00pm, on August 27.
