Nawaz has right to visit every corner of the country: Shazia

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Information Ms Shazia Marri has said that PML(N) leader Mian Nawaz Sharif being a Pakistani and a leader of major political party has a right to go to every corner of the country and does not need to get a clearance from Sindh Government to visit Sindh.

Ms Shazia Marri commenting on a press statement of PML(N) leader Capt. Safdar, regarding clearance from Sindh Government to Mian Nawaz Sharif for a visit to Sindh, said Sindh is a province of Pakistan and both Mian Nawaz Sharif and Mian Shahbaz Sharif can come to Sindh whenever they like.

Ms Marri further said Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has also said that Mian Nawaz Sharif can come to Sindh whenever he likes and in this regard Sindh Chief Minister extended special invitation to Mian Nawaz Sharif for a visit to Sindh.

Sindh Minister for Information further said the 62- point constitutional package will be beneficial for the entire nation and every institution of the country will be strengthened, and all the hurdles which disrupt democratic process will be removed through it.

Ms. Shazia Marri said 1973 Constitution was given to the country by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, but the dictators tore it at various times and now the Co-chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party Asif Ali Zardari and his team have succeeded to give the nation the gift of this constitutional package which will be presented before the parliament very soon.

She said now 1973 Constitution will be strengthened further and the un-democratic elements coming in collision with the Constitution will be rooted out.

The Minister Information said now no body will dare to play with the power of the people or insult the vote of people. She said the establishment of the Government comes through vote of the people because the people have the right to decide about their future and now no dictator will be allowed to impose himself upon the nation.

Ms Marri further said this constitutional package will also give independence to the judiciary and all the democratic institutions will get strengthened and the country will get stability with a new system.

She hoped that all the democratic political parties will support this constitutional package of PPP to ensure the welfare of people and sovereignty of Pakistan.●
