Orascom Chief meets Musharraf

RAWALPINDI: President Pervez Musharraf Monday said the economic reforms in the country have created an enabling environment for foreign entrepreneurs.

The President was talking to Naguib Sawiris, Orascom Chief here at the President’s Lodge.

The President appreciated the investments made in different sectors of economy and said the private sector played a key role in this regard.

He said Pakistan has become an attractive destination for investment due to its liberal and investment-friendly policies.

Naguib Sawiris appreciated the economic performance of the Pakistan and termed the investment climate as highly conducive.●
