Three die in DIK firing

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Unknown gunmen shot dead three persons in Dera Ismail Khan
on Saturday, police said.
Unidentified armed men opened fire over a shop at Commissionary Bazaar in
Dera Ismail Khan killing the shopkeeper on the spot while wounding two
others.
The wounded persons were succumbed to their injuries while being taken to
hospital.
An angry mob reached hospital and started firing after the incident, which
was dispersed after police firing.
All shops in markets were closed after the incident.
And a report from Dera Bugti says; security forces killed two miscreants
after exchange of intense firing in Lanjho Saghari area of Dera Bugti
Saturday, officials said.
The two miscreants opened fire at the security forces after they were asked
for identification.
The security forces retaliated and killed both the miscreants who were later
identified as Aqil son of Hamal Khan Qalandrani and Naseer Khan son of Hamal
Khan Qalandrani after brief but intense exchange of fire.
The security forces also arrested 34 other suspects from the area and
shifted them to Sui for interrogation.● |
