Blast outside mosque in Malakand

MALAKAND: A big explosion outside a mosque, Masjid Ghoos-e-Azam, in Allah Dand area on the outskirts of Batkhela partially damaged the building.

The explosion occurred during wee hours of last night (Friday) and the bang was listened in a wide area which created panic among the residents.

According to Police, some unknown miscreants had planted explosive devise outside the room of Imam of the mosque, Maulana Muhammad Javed.

However, the Iman of the mosque remained unhurt.●
