Asif Zardari leaves for UK

ISLAMABAD: PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari Thursday left for a short visit to the United Kingdom.

Rehman Malik, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Interior also accompanied him.
The PPP Co-chairman will stay in London for a few days and will return next week, a party spokesman said.

An earlier report said that Co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party Asif Ali Zardari Thursday left for London to hold talks with Mian Nawaz Sharif on judges’ issue.

Asif Ali Zardari, accompanied by sister Azra Pechoho and federal advisor for interior Rehman Malik left for London from Islamabad in a British Airways flight.

Credible sources say that the PPP leader will also meet with MQM Quaid Altaf Hussain during his stay in London.

He will pass some time with his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, said a spokesman of Zardari House.

Asif Ali Zardari is expected to return home on Monday, the spokesman said.●
