Mirwaiz pays glowing tributes to Kashmiri martyrs

SRINAGAR (IHK): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has paid glowing tributes to Kashmiri liberation martyrs expressing the confidence that their unique sacrifices will never be allowed to go waste.

Addressing a function in Khanyar, the APHC Chairman said that the resolution of Kashmir dispute was imperative for the peace and security in South Asia.

The function was organised in the memory of 35 martyrs, who were shot dead in an indiscriminate firing incident by Indian troops in Khanyar on May 08, 1991.

Other APHC leaders who spoke on the occasion included Maulana Abbas Ansari, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Shaikh Abdul Aziz, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi, Fazl Haq Qureshi and Nayeem Ahmed Khan.●
