Two policemen shot dead in Swat

SWAT: Unidentified gunmen shot dead two policemen in Matta Bazaar area of Swat on Tuesday.

Armed men opened fire over two policemen Sardar and Aziz, who were on duty outside a bank at College Chowk in Matta, sources said.

The policemen were died on the spot in heavy firing, as the accused fled from the scene.

After the incident policemen at nearby Matta Police Station started aerial firing causing harassment and shutter down in the market.

Police have registered case against unknown culprits.●
