Six die in S Waziristan tribal Clash

ISLAMABAD: Six persons were killed and seven others injured in a clash between two tribes over land dispute in Spainwam area of South Waziristan.

According to private TV channel Geo, the clashes erupted once again between Hasankhel and Mandikhel over ownership of a mountain.

Both tribes are using heavy weapons against each other.

Assistant political agent Asmatullah said that tribal jirga has been reached in the area and started talks for ceasefire.●
