Restoration of judiciary top priority: Hashmi

MULTAN: Pakistan Muslim Leaque (N) attaches top priority to restoration of judiciary and PPP is also determined to honour the Murree declaration, said senior vice president PML (N) Makhdoom Javed Hashmi.

He was addressing the District Bar association (DBA) Multan here on Thursday.

Javed Hashmi reiterated that PML-N strongly believes in independence of judiciary. He added that he himself will join the proposed long march of lawyers if the desired objective was not achieved.

He said, judiciary will be restored and the world will acknowledge the supremacy of the parliament.

He also spoke against the imposition of emergency on Nov 3 last year.

Vice chairman Pakistan Bar Council Mirza Aziz Baig, president District Bar Multan Najaf Chawan, president High Court Bar also addressed on this occasion.●
