Pakistan Federal cabinet: 11
belong to PPPP, 9 to PML(N)

ISLAMABAD: Among 24 ministers of the newly
sworn-in cabinet, Pakistan Peoples Party and Muslim League (Nawaz) make the
major and almost equal share of the roll, with 11 and nine ministers
respectively.
Apart from these 20 ministries, two have been allocated to members of Awami
National Party, while one minister each belongs to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazal)
and FATA.
The province-wise breakup of ministers that include 21 MNAs and three
Senators is: Punjab 13, Sindh 04, NWFP 04, Balochistan 02 and FATA 01.
The ministers from PPPP are Ch Ahmed Mukhtar, Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi,
Sherry Rehman, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah, Farooq H Naik,
Nazar Muhammad Gondal, Hamayun Aziz Kurd, Syed Naveed Qamar, Najmuddin Khan
and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.
Nine ministers belonging to PML(N) are Ch Nisar Ali Khan, Shahid Khaqan
Abbasi, Tehmina Daultana, Ahsan Iqbal, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Khwaja Muhammad
Asif, Sardar Mahtab Ahmed Khan, Khwaja Saad Rafique and Rana Tanveer Hussain.
The ministers from ANP are Nawabzada Khwaja Muhammad Khan Hoti and Haji
Ghulam Ahmed Bilour.
Hameedullah Jan Afridi belongs to FATA while Haji Rehmatullah Kakar
represents JUI(F).● |
