Gas pipeline blown up in Balochistan
'Pakistan Times' Wire Service

QUETTA: Gas supply to Quetta industrial units stood suspended after unknown miscreants blew up an 18-inch diameter pipeline near Tangwani some 45 kilometers off Sui on Saturday.

A spokesman of SSGC says that repair teams have been rushed to area for repair which is expected to be completed by Sunday.

A case has been registered against unknown miscreants.

Meanwhile, a report from Peshawar says that unknown militants detonated an explosive device outside a local market near Ring Road.

However no casualty was reported, police said on Saturday.

The low-intensity device was planted outside the Noor Khan market that exploded Friday night. Motorbike and several shops were damaged.

An official of the Bomb Disposal Squad said that about one-kilogram explosive material was used in the explosion. Police is investigating.●
