Chaudhry Amir Hussain to be acting President

ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Chaudhry Amir Hussain would be the acting president during the absence of President Pervez Musharraf, who is undertaking an eight-day European tour.

Chaudhry Amir would perform his functions as president of Pakistan under article 49 (2) of the constitution from January 20.●
