Lahore Stock Exchange witnesses Bullish

LAHORE: Lahore Stock
Exchange on Friday witnessed bullish trend as LSE-25 index gained 98.39
points to settle at 4455.89 points as compared to Yesterday’s 4357.50
points.
The total turnover also showed the same trend as it remained 21.710 million
shares as compared to the previous volume of 19.558 million shares showing a
difference of 2.152 million.
Of 110 active scrips traded on Friday, 57 moved up, 9 gone down while
another 44 equities remained stable.
Admamjee Insurance Company, Pakistan State Oil Co.Ltd and Habib Bank Limited
were among the major gainers while Pak Suzuki Motors Co Ltd, Cherate Cement
Company Ltd and Pak Electron Limited led the losers side.
NIB Bank Limited hold the
slot of volume leader with 4.555 million shares followed by Arif Habib
Securities Ltd and Bosicor Pakistan Limited.
ISE-10 Index
And, Islamabad Stock Exchange witnessed bullish trends here on Friday, as
the ISE-10 index gained 60.22 points to close at 2914.15 today’s trading.
A total of 202,3000 shares were traded, which were up by 240,600 shares when
compared with previous day’s trading of 1,782,400 shares.
Out of 134 companies, the share prices of 111 companies recorded increase,
the shares prices of 23 companies registered decrease, while that of no
company remained stable.
The share prices of Pak Engineering gained the maximum with Rs. 16.85 per
share, while the share prices of Siemens Engineering dipped by Rs. 57.00 per
share.
NIB Bank, Attock Refinery and Arif Habib remained the top trading companies
in Friday’s trading with 301,000, 290,200 and 296,500 shares, respectively.● |
