Punjab CM to award Proprietary Rights to Katchi Abadis in RY Khan

RAHIM YAR KHAN: Punjab Chief Minister Ch. Pervaiz Elahi has announced to award proprietary rights to the residents of ‘katchi abadis’ and upgradation of 600 beds hospital to 1322 beds in the city.

Addressing the public meeting at City Park here Sunday, he announced to construct two hostels each for students and staff of Sheikh Zayed Medical College RY Khan, Rs 500 million for the construction of Cardiac Centre, Rs 500 million for Dental college in RY Khan, establishment of nursing college adjacent to Sheikh Zayed College, setting up of social security hospital consists of 50 beds, setting up of girls college at Bagh-o-Bahar.

Earlier, he announced to purchase land for Mehmood Stadium.

District Nazim Sardar Rafiq Haider Leghari and State minister for interior Ch. Zafar Iqbal Warriach also spoke on the occasion.●
