World’s Biggest Soccer Ball Made in Pakistan

SIALKOT: A leading soccer ball firm of Sialkot unveiled the world’s largest handmade football here, with 34.7 feet diameter and 22,000 stitches, weighing 800kg.

The huge ball unveiled on Thursday, was prepared with skill and dexterity by 50 stitchers, over a period of two months.

Chief executive of the firm Vision Technologies, Ahsan Naeem told journalists that the world’s biggest football had been manufactured in record time on the request of MPM Telephone Company of South Africa.

The ball will be displayed by the South African firm as part of the preparations for the upcoming World Cup Football.

It will be dispatched to South Africa on a special chartered flight to ensure its safe landing, he added.

The world’s biggest football ever made, produced by Vision Technologies is a source of pride for Pakistan, claimed Ahsan Naeem.●
