Pakistan Senate Business Advisory Committee Meets

ISLAMABAD: The House Business Advisory Committee of the Senate which met here Friday decided to run the House, as usual, in a spirit of accommodation and mutual respect.

Chairman Senate Muhammedmian Soomro presided over the meeting, which was held in a very cordial atmosphere.

The Committee decided the modalities of the session commencing from today and agreed to discuss and debate issues of national significance like the foreign policy, law and order situation, recent floods as well as the political situation obtaining in the country.

The respective party heads/representatives who attended the meeting put forward various suggestions for smooth running of the House.

It was decided that Monday would be observed as the Private Members’ Day whereas the first hour will be the Question Hour.

Thereafter, usual Business of the House including the Legislative Business would be undertaken.

The meeting was attended by Leader of the House in the Senate, Wasim Sajjad, Leader of the Opposition, Mian Raza Rabbani, Federal Ministers, Dr. Sher Afgan Niazi and Abdul Razzaq Thahem, Chief Whip, Kamil Ali Agha, Senators Prof, Khurshid Ahmed, Ishaq Dar, Nisar A. Memon, Ch, Muhammad Anwar Bhinder, Raza Muhammad Raza, Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan, Dr. Zaheer-ud-Din Babar Awan, Dr. Ismail Buledi and others.●
