Pakistan to Play against China in Floodlit

BEIJING (China): The Good Luck Beijing International Hockey tournament gets underway Wednesday with Pakistan to play against China in the second session of the day under floodlights.

The other three teams taking part in the tournament are Australia, Malaysia and China.

The Pakistan and China hockey match will start at 2000 hrs (Beijing Time) under floodlights.

The coach of Pakistan Hockey Team Islahuddin Siddiqui while talking to media persons said that on Tuesday morning the team had three hours practice session.

He pointed out that all the players are in fine health and eager to take part in the tournament with good spirit.

Meanwhile, the official dinner for all the participating teams both men and women was held today at a local hotel that was also participated by senior officials of FIH, IOC and the Organizing Committee.

The first match of the tournament will be played between Australia and Malaysia while Pakistan and China to face each other in the second match of the day at the Olympic Green Hockey Field.

The organizer has fixed 20 Yuan for the preliminaries matches while for fine it will cost 30 Yuan.●
