APHC Concerned Over Surge in State-Terrorism in Held-Kashmir
'Pakistan Times' Kashmir Desk

SRINAGAR (IHK): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed serious concern over stepped-up acts of Indian state-terrorism in occupied Kashmir, particularly recent incidents of disgracing of women by the troops in Bandipora and Sopore.

The concern was voiced at a meeting of the general council of the APHC in Srinagar today, presided over by its Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and attended besides others by Professor Abdul Ghani Butt.

The APHC urged India to immediately halt human rights abuses in the held territory and pave way for a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute through talks’ process.

It also asked India to reciprocate Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf’s four-point formula on Kashmir.●
