Prices of Eatables Increase in India

NEW DELHI: With the increase in inflation rate to 4.41 percent ending July 14, prices of fruits and vegetables have gone up in India.

The articles which registered higher prices include fruits and vegetables, ragi, wheat, jowar, condiments and spices.

The prices of vegetables went up sharply by 7 per cent during the week.

Rice, bran oil, groundnut oil, cotton seed oil and oil cakes also registered upward trend.●
