Pakistan Rangers, Indian BSF Discuss Important Matters

MONABAO: A quarterly meeting between Pakistan Rangers and Indian Border Security Force was held in the border area of Monabao in which various border related matters were discussed.

Brigadier Syed Khushnood Hussain led the delegation of the Pakistan Rangers in the meeting while Deputy Inspector-General K.R. Patel led the delegation of the Indian Border Security Force.

In the meeting, which lasted for four hours, matters were discussed like joint patrolling on Pak-Indian border, defensive constructions, adjustment of security lights, and returning of persons, who mistakenly crossed the border.

According to the press release of the Pakistan Rangers, the meeting was held in a pleasant atmosphere.

Brigadier Khushnood Hussain and K.R. Patel expressed hope that such meetings would be proved helpful in improving the bilateral relations.●
