British Foreign Secretary to Visit Pakistan

LONDON: The new British Foreign Secretary David Miliband will visit Pakistan in immediate future for talks with senior Government officials on bilateral matters.

Miliband said the two Foreign Offices of the respective countries are working out the details of his visit.

He is expected to call on President General Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and hold talks with his counterpart Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri and other senior Government officials.

Mr. Miliband is also expected to visit Afghanistan and some other Middle East countries during his maiden trip to that part of the world.

Meanwhile, David Cameron, Leader of the Opposition Conservative Party, also plans to tour Pakistan soon after the visit of the British Foreign Secretary.●
