Bright Potential Exist for
Pakistan-Australia Quality Cricket Contests

Foster, the Australian Cricket team Manager declared here Wednesday that
bright potential was available for holding of the quality contests between
Australian and Pakistani cricket teams in Pakistan including Mirpur, Azad
Jammu Kashmir.
He was taking to 'Pakistan Times' [Daily Web Newspaper] during his visit
along with six-member delegation of the Australian cricket and security
experts for inspection of the recently-constructed Quaid-e-Azam Mirpur
Cricket Stadium here Wednesday.
The delegation of the Australian cricket stalwarts / experts was in the city
to assess the arrangements for hosting two proposed one-day cricket matches
at the Mirpur stadium on October 10 and 12 this year.
Foster said that during his visit to various parts of the country including
AJK, he was satisfied of the required arrangements for holding of the
proposed cricket contests at various proposed stadiums in Pakistan and in
Mirpur – AJK.
However necessary matters would further be discussed by the visiting
Australian cricket experts about holding of the proposed matches. He
expressed the hope that quality cricket matches between Paksitan and
Australia would be played.
Responding to a question about the standard of Quaid-e-Azam Mirpur Cricket
Stadium, Derril Foster termed it one of the best stadiums he visited so far
and not less in standard as compared to any other stadium of national and
international repute. He also appreciated the facilities being extended at
Mirpur Stadium.●
