OIC Donors Conference in Doha on June 12

ISLAMABAD: The Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) will hold an international donors conference on 'Strategic Food Reserve in Niger' on June 12-13 in Doha, capital of Qatar.

According to a message received here on Wednesday, the Conference will focus on finding ways and means to secure a strategic food reserve for the people of Niger.

OIC General Secretary Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu said the Conference will be first of its kind which will augur well within the objectives for which the OIC was first established.

He said the conference will help extend humanitarian assistance to the people in Niger besides fostering solidarity among the Muslim countries. ●
