Pakistan Plans Volleyball Coaches Training Programme

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Volleyball Federation, Ch. Muhammad Yaqub inaugurated the volleyball coaches training programme here on Tuesday.

Pakistan Volleyball Federation has arranged the coaching programme with the coordination of Pakistan Olympic Association & Olympic Council of Asia to equip the Pakistani coaches with the latest knowledge of Volleyball.

Patrick H. Nicholas, an elite coach of Marshall University of USA, will impart specific training methods and volleyball skills to the budding coaches.

He will be assisted by Qazi Mushtaq Ahmed, Secretary, Volleyball Coaches Board and National Coaches Instructor.The course will conclude on June 12.

The following coaches have been invited by PVF to attend the "Systematic Coaches Programme"--M.B. Javed (Punjab), Farooq Azam, (Police) Muhammad Akram (PVF), Muhammad Ashraf (Army), Kafyatullah (WAPDA), Muhammad Amjid (PAF), Maqsood Khalid (PB), Khalid Waqar(NWFP) Fahim Haider (Sindh) Muhammad Akbar (Balochistan), Najum ul Hassnain Sajid (Boards), Rahmatullah Khan (POF), Jamat Ali (NAVY), besides leady Coaches Ms. Tahira, (Punjab) and Nasima (NWFP).●
