Pakistan's Ambassador to Vietnam Dies

ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Pakistan to Vietnam Habibur Rehman died on June 4 in Hanoi, Vietnam, says a press release issued here on Tuesday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

His body will be flown to Islamabad today, June-6. His wife and two sons will accompany the body.

Ambassador Habibur Rehman joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1975.

He held various diplomatic assignments in Pakistan missions abroad including Beijing (thrice), Budapest and New Delhi.

Before Vietnam, Habibur Rehman was ambassador of Pakistan to Kyrgyztan and Greece.●
