Pakistanis Injured in Turkey Blast Named
'Pakistan Times' Wire Service

ANKARA: Pakistan Embassy Wednesday issued the names of ten Pakistanis who were injured in Tuesday's bomb blast, with eight of them being treated here in GATA (Combined Military Hospital).

The injured Pakistanis include Miss Tayyaba Pirzada, Zulfiqar Lodhi, Adeel Masood, Salman Durrani, Abdul Moeed Khan, Tariq Zafar Iqbal, Ali Ezad Abbas, Amir Hussain Khan, Shafiq-ur-Rehman (minor injury) and Muhammad Arif Jadoon (minor injury).

The injured Pakistanis were part of the 66-member delegation, which had come to Ankara to participate in the IDEF-07 (Industrial Defence Exhibition) being held here from May 22 to 25.

A bomb blast occurred in a shopping center in Ankara on Tuesday in which six people lost their lives and more 80 sustained injuries including 10 Pakistanis.

Those who sustained minor injuries were allowed to go back to the hotel after first aid, while eight including a woman are being kept in hospital for treatment.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Land Forces Commander and other high civil and defence officials visited the hospital to enquire about the welfare of the injured.

They especially enquired about the health of hospitalized Pakistanis.●
