Gastro Claims 2 More Lives in Pakistan

NAWABSHAH: Two more children were died of gastroenteritis in Sindh during last 24 hours, while 1700 more patients brought to hospitals of the province.

The patients of gastro and diarrhea are continuously pouring into government hospitals.

During last 24 hours 130 patients were admitted at Hyderabad district hospitals, 153 patients in Matiari, 100 patients in Thatta, 348 patients in Karachi, 79 patients in Dadu and 91 patients in Badin hospitals.

Two children Waqar 6 and Rahim 5, were died in Khairpur raising the death toll in Sindh by gastroenteritis to 19. Provincial health department however confirmed three deaths by the gastro outbreak.

Nawabshah hospitals are receiving daily over 300 patients of the abdominal disorder.

Increasing number of patients of gastro and diarrhea are being admitted in hospitals in Balochistan and Peshawar.●
