'Pakistan Times' Kashmir Desk

LAHORE: President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Zulqarnain Khan has said that the issue of Kashmir is moving in right direction.

Speaking at "Meet the Press" programme of Lahore Press Club here on Sunday, he reiterated that no solution of the issue against the wishes of people of Kashmir will be accepted.

He said that Kashmir issue should be resolved by taking Kashmiris into confidence as per spirit of the resolutions of United Nations.

He demanded that India should withdraw its forces from held Kashmir and stop human rights violations in the valley and specially its atrocities on women.

Raja Zulqarnain said that the hurdles in the movements of the people living in Azad Jammu Kashmir and Indian occupied Kashmir should be removed so that the people of the divided families could meet each other.

He said that Palestine and Kashmir issues are among the most sensitive issues of the world.

AJK President said that an invitation has been extended to the Secretary General Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) to visit Azad Kashmir.

He said that people and government of Pakistan have always stood side by side with their Kashmiri brothers during all odds and both of them can never be separated from each other, he added.●
