Lahore: Indian visa camp duration extended
'Pakistan Times'

LAHORE: Indian High Commission has extended Indian visa camp duration in Lahore for Samjhota Express victims’ families till February 24.

The visa camp was setup at Davis Road in Lahore Monday to facilitate immediate travel by the relatives of those killed or injured in the Samjhota Express incident.

The camp has issued visas for Panipat, Anbala and Delhi to 69 relatives of the train blast victims.

The duration of Lahore visa camp has been extended on request of Pakistan’s foreign office, Indian High Commission visa official M.K. Mustafai said.

Most of the passengers of the Samjhota Express belonged to Sindh and the relatives of these passengers are arriving Lahore from Sindh for immediate Indian visa, he said.

The visas being issued in a span of one hour after some formalities, he added.
