Gas Pipeline Blown-up at Dera Bugti in SW Pakistan

DERA BUGTI: Unknown persons blew up a gas pipeline in Sui area of Dera Bugti, cutting supplies to the purification plant, officials said.

According to officials unidentified persons had planted explosives near 8-inch diameter pipeline supplying gas to Sui Purification Plant from well number seven in Sui.

The explosives ruptured several feet portion of the pipeline suspending gas supplies to the purification plant.

The local administration and officials of the gas company reached to the spot of the blast and investigating into the incident.

The officials said that the pipeline repair work would start soon to restore supplies.●
