Kashmiris’ Struggle forced India to Negotiating Table: AJK Speaker
'Pakistan Times' Kashmir Desk

MUZAFFARABAD (AJK): Speaker Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Shah Ghulam Qadir said on Thursday the historical freedom struggle of Kashmiri’s against Indian occupation has forced India to the negotiating table.

Talking to APHC leader Professor Abdul Ghani Bhut in his office chamber here on Thursday, he said that now the Indian Government wanted to solve the Kashmir issue through dialogue process and world community was anxiously waiting for peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute so that durable peace could be maintained in South Asian region.

He said Kashmiri people have given unprecedented sacrifices for their birth right of self determination. He expressed his concern over the custodial and extra-judicial killings of Kashmiri youths and said Indian Government should take strict notice of it to make the peace process successful.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference( APHC) leader Professor Abdul Ghani Bhut who is on a visit to Pakistan and Azad Kashmir these days said that the Kashmiri people, rendering unprecedented sacrifices were eagerly waiting for the liberation of their motherland.

Professor Ghani Bhut said Kashmiri people should be given their birth right of freedom according to their aspirations which was inevitable for a sustainable peace in the region and better interest of both the neighboring countries.

Later the AJK Assembly Speaker Shah Ghulam Qadir gave a launch in honour of Prof. Abdul Ghani Bhut.●
