Gas Pipeline Blown up in SW Pakistan

QUETTA: Unknown miscreants blew up a 16 inch diameter gas pipeline in Akhtarabad at Western Bypass in the outskirt of the provincial capital, Sui Southern Gas Company sources said here Tuesday.

The blast caused disruption of gas supply to certain areas of Quetta, Kalat and Mastung.

SSGC authorities dispatched special team to the site to repair the damaged pipeline which is still in progress. Police have registered a case against unknown miscreants and started searching for them.●
