Pakistan announces Compensation Train Victims

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has expressed his deep sorrow over Samjhota Express tragedy Monday and condemned the incident in strongest terms.

The prime minister announced Rs.500,000 compensation for each deceased and Rs100,00 each for the injured.

“The ongoing peace process with India would not be affected and this process would not be allowed to be sabotaged,” he added.●
