Cement prices up by Rs 10 to 15 per 50-Kg in Pakistan

KARACHI: All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association (APCMA) decided Thursday to raise cement prices by 10 to 15 Rupees per 50-kilo cement bag.

Chairman APCMA Ijaz Shaikh informed about the increase in cement prices.

Shiakh said that as much as 15 to 20 Rupees was increased in NWFP, while raise of 10 to 15 Rupees per bag was announced for Punjab and Karachi.

He said that the increase in prices was decided by keeping in view of its escalating demand soon after the winter spell in the country.●
