Khokrapar-Munabao Train service from February 17

LAHORE: Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has said that Khokrapar-Munabao train service would be started from February 17.

Speaking to newsmen, Sheikh Rashid said that to avoid accidents, proposals of construction of gates at 4,000 railway crossings, construction of three hundred underpasses and fencing along with railway tracks passing through thickly populated areas would be presented in next cabinet meeting.

He said that two new trains Sir Syed and Nishtar would be launched soon.

Replying to a question regarding deal with Peoples Party, Sheikh Rashid said that the talks were ended in quarterfinal. Resignations near elections could not give any advantage to opposition, he added.●
