Report on construction of five dams in Pakistan Signed

ISLAMABAD: Member Planning Commission Leut. Gen Mohammed Zubair said Saturday that a report regarding the construction of five larage dams has been penned.

He said this at a meeting of Central Development Working Party held here.

Leut. Gen Mohammed Zubair said the report was submitted in the third meeting of the committee held on Saturday where the establishment of five new dams in all provinces was approved.

He said that there is difference of opinions on some technical issues, which would soon be removed.

Mohammed Zubair said these projects would be inspected in all respects especially the implementation modus operandi would have to be reviewed, adding that a special task force at Economic Affairs Division has been set up for the collection of funds.●
