Three Frenchmen kidnapped in West Bank

NABLUS: Three Frenchmen were kidnapped by armed Palestinians on Tuesday in the northern West Bank town of Nablus, witnesses said.

The men were seized in a hotel in the centre of Nablus and taken by foot toward the Casbah, the old quarter of the city.

A Palestinian security officer confirmed the kidnapping of the men and said security services were "making efforts to secure their release."●
