Lindsay Lohan: Sells Luxury Apartment

LINDSAY Lohan has opted to put her luxury condo back on the market without ever having lived in it.

The actress bought the three-bedroom apartment in a swish complex situated in West Hollywood just last year for £1 million, but spent her time in LA staying at the Chateau Marmont hotel.

Now the 20-year-old is asking £1.5 million for the property, People magazine reports.

A local estate agent commented: "It was an investment. She'll make a nice turnaround."

A report from Hollywood says that Lindsay Lohan has put her West Hollywood condominium on the market--before she's even had the chance to move in.

Fully Loaded star bought the three-bedroom apartment in Sierra Towers, just off the Sunset Strip, in 2005.

She purchased the condo for $1.9 million, but has been living at the famed Chateau Marmont hotel just down the street.

Lohan was reportedly staying at the hotel while she was redecorating her new digs, but apparently changed her mind and decided to sell.

The 19-year-old star has put the house on the market for $2.85 million. The posh 32-story Modernist stucco and glass apartment building has also been home to Matthew Perry, Cher, George Hamilton and Joan Collins.

A Los Angeles real estate tells People, "It was an investment. She'll make a nice turnaround."

Actress Lindsay Lohan is only 20, but she seems to have developed an acute business sense when it comes to real estate.

The Mean Girl star has put her three-bedroom condominium, in Sierra Towers - which she purchased in 2005 for 1.9 million dollars - on the market for 2.85 million dollars, which means she will make a cool million dollar profit in just a year.

The real estate told American publication People, "It was an investment. She'll make a nice turnaround."

Contactmusic reports that Lohan has been living at the famed Chateau Marmont hotel just down the street, as the works of rennovation went in her new house.

But she apparently changed her mind, and decided to sell up rather than bringing it to her own use.

To Launch Fragrance

Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan is set to be the latest celebrity perfumer - she's planning to launch her own scent.

The girls star, 20, told fashion publication Women's Wear Daily she was still in the initial stages of planning with the French fragrance house Coty.

A Coty spokesperson refuses to confirm or deny Lohan's claims, saying, "We don't comment on rumours." Lohan's new business foray would align her with current famous perfumers JENNIFER LOPEZ, SARAH JESSICA PARKER, NAOMI CAMPBELL, DAME ELIZABETH TAYLOR, CELINE DION, PARIS HILTON, BRITNEY SPEARS and SHANIA TWAIN.●
