Pakistan to participate in EuropAsia Business Convention

LAHORE: A business delegation from Pakistan will participate in the Second International EuropAsia Business convention being organized by Lyon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (France) from April 2-4.

According to Competitiveness Support Fund (CSF) sources, the CSF would work closely with the Lyon Chambers and organise and lead the Pakistani business delegation to the event.

Other participating countries in the event are China, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden and Spain.

The CSF sources hoped that the convention would help promote business cooperation between Asia and Europe in transportation, environmental technologies and chemical sectors as well as medical and healthcare equipment and biotechnologies.

They said as a part of the benchmarking exercise to improve the competitiveness of the Pakistani private sector and increase the trade potential of the Pakistani economic sectors, the selection of the interested businesses would be closely co-ordinated with all the key stakeholders, including the Pakistan Business Council, the Chambers, the Engineering Development Board, Pakistani-French Business Council and the Trade Development Authority.●
