Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan agree on tri-partite Dialogue
By Laiylla Sherazi 'Pakistan Times' Foreign Correspondent

TEHRAN (Iran): Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan agreed Sunday on tri-partite parliamentary dialogue.

This development came in the wake of negotiations of Pakistani delegation with Iranian government.

Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed said that bilateral talks would be held between the committees of foreign affairs belonging to both the countries; Afghanistan committee on foreign would be incorporated later on.

This measure, he said would help improve the relations and remove the misgivings.

A separate institution would be established to take the parliamentary dialogue process ahead; the first meeting of this institution would be held in Islamabad followed by the one in Tehran, he added.

Mushahid Hussain said that he advised Iran to avoid belligerence with the western countries and not to open new fronts such as holocaust.

Earlier, a nine-member Pakistani delegation of the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs led by the Chairman of the Committee Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed arrived here on January 5th.
