Yousuf unlikely to Play
And, a report from Lahore says that Pakistan batting star Muhammad Yousuf
unlikely to play in the opening test against South Africa due to surgery of
his wife. The first test of the series against South Africa will start from
January 11.
Yousuf’s wife would undergo a surgery on January 12 due to which he wouldn’t
available for the opening test of the series at Centurion, spokesman of
Pakistan Cricket Board Dr. Ahsan Hameed Malik said.
Pakistan’s middle-order batsman hasn’t formally informed the board about his
decision but in present circumstances it is seen improbable for him to reach
South Africa for the first test, spokesman added.●
