Pakistan Road Mishap: 13 killed,
46 injured in traffic accident near Rohri

SUKKUR: At least 13 persons
including 8 women were killed and 46 others injured in road accident near
Rohri By-Pass Wednesday evening.
The passenger bus No. JA-8924 turned turtle from the height after which it
fell into a road-side ravine, police sources said.
The deceased were identified as Ali, Mst.Alia, Mst.Shabiran, Mst.Jamul, Mst.
Saima, Mst. Shehzadi, Mst. Rafia, Mst. Bubly, Mst.Moran, Mst.Ameer Zadi, Ali
Haider, Punhal and an infant. 46 passengers of the bus including Mir Hassan,
Sajid, Mst.Razo, Mst. Hajo, Ramzan, Mst. Alia, Manthar, Shehzado, Zubair,
Zahid, Mst. Rashidan, Abdul Ghaffar, Mst. Najma. Mst. Shazia, Shehzad and
Abdul Ghani injured in the accident.
Zila Nazim Sukkur, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and Taluka Nazim Rohri Aslam
Shaikh were among the first to reach thesite of accident, and supervised the
rescue efforts by thepolice and Edhi volunteers.
The police and Edhi volunteers shifted the injured passengers to Taluka
Hospital Rohri and Civil Hospital Sukkur, where all the medical staff and
the doctors were called in emergency by the Zila Nazim.
The police were making arrangements to transport the bodies to their homes.●
