Butt hopeful of Musharraf-Singh Meeting
Pakistan Times Kashmir Desk

SRINAGAR (IHK): In occupied Kashmir, senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt has underlined the urgent need to resume composite dialogue process between India and Pakistan.

In an interview in Srinagar, he hoped that Pakistan President, General Pervez Musharraf and Indian Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh would hold purposeful meetings in Havana and, later, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session in New York.

He emphasized that the ongoing dialogue process between India and Pakistan, which has been moving at a snail's pace, should be given a fillip.

He reiterated that there was no other option for India and Pakistan but to hold meaningful and sustained dialogue for finding a durable solution to the Kashmir dispute.●
