Speaker of Pakistan's NA not right in refusing Secret Ballot: Fazl

RAHIMYAR KHAN: The opposition leader in the National Assembly Maulana Fazlur Rehman said Saturday that the speaker’s refusal for secret ballot was not right as the methodology of voting on No-confidence motion against the Prime Minister was related with the parliament rules not the constitution.

Addressing a press conference in Rahimyar Khan, he said that the no-confidence motion had been tabled with no high expectations of success, however, through it, "the government’s corruption had been laid manifest to public."

Fazlur Rehman said that any attempt on the part of government for the promulgation of women bill would be duly resisted both within and without the Assembly.●
