Pakistan Times Kashmir Desk
MUZAFFARABAD (AJK): Some 15
divided Kashmiri people crossed the Line of Control from Chalyana Neelum
Valley crossing point to Teetwal sector in the Indian held Kashmir on
Thursday.
This was stated by Pakistan Army Spokesman Major Farooq Nasir Pirzada here
on Thursday.
This was the first ever crossing from the sector since both Pakistan and
India had agreed to open four more points besides the Chakothi crossing
point which was opened for traveling on April 7, 2004 to help facilitate the
divided families.
Eleven of the 15 passengers were those who had already came to Azad Kashmir
from Indian held Kashmir to see their relatives, while four were the new

to see their kith and kin in occupied Kashmir.
However, only three new passengers arrived to Azad Kashmir from the held
territory to meet their relatives from the Chalyana crossing point.
This is the fifth one crossing points of the four which were opened by the
Pakistani and Indian authorities to help facilitate the divided families to
see each others following the last year deadly earthquake which struck the
area badly as first one was opened on April 7, 2004 while four more were
